Who This Is For
Even if they can't fully explain it yet.
You might be here because:
You might be here because:
Your child understands in class, but test results don't reflect it
The gap between understanding and performance is often about exam technique, not knowledge.
Careless mistakes keep happening — misreading, wrong units, skipped steps
Word problems always turn into frustration or tears at home
Math used to be okay… until suddenly it wasn't
Your child rushes, blanks out, or gives up too quickly
You want stronger questions and better habits, not just more practice
You've tried tuition before, and it felt like busywork instead of real teaching
If any of this sounds familiar, you're exactly who we work with every day.
From Our Founder
I once had a student who scored AL6 at PSLE. She had completely lost confidence in herself. Together, we celebrated small wins and made incremental progress. Within two years, she moved from G1 to G2, then G2 to G3. Today, she consistently scores A1.
That's why I started Genius Plus Academy 8 years ago — built on one belief: every child can master Math if they have the right help.
My goal is simple. I want your child to celebrate small wins every week — and I want those wins to build their confidence to do even better.

Our Approach
We don't throw worksheets at a problem and hope something sticks. Every student's progress follows the same disciplined process.
Foundations, interpretation, method choice, carelessness, or exam panic.
Diagrams, models, worked examples — until they can explain it back.
Guided practice, mixed questions, exam-style application.
We correct habits, not just this week's homework.
Progress comes from steady teaching — not last-minute miracles.
What's Included
Weekly lessons, proprietary materials, detailed feedback, and ongoing support — all designed to work together.
1.5–2 hours, onsite or live Zoom. Interactive teaching with guided practice.
Proper textbooks and workbooks — not loose worksheets. Written specifically for Singapore syllabus.
Weekly practice with written feedback. We track patterns so we know where support is needed.
Lesson recordings, WhatsApp communication, and free consults when needed.
A Closer Look
Most centres give students loose worksheets every week. We believe students deserve proper books — structured, comprehensive, and designed for how they actually learn.

Results
What parents commonly notice after consistent lessons:
Fewer repeated mistakes
Stronger working steps
Less resistance at home
More willingness to try
Across cohorts, many students improve by around 2 AL grades over a year, with greater improvement over longer consistency.
Results vary by child. The process does not.
What Parents Say
My child was scoring AL6 for Math in P6 Term 1. We were desperate. The clear explanations and systematic teaching helped him improve to AL5 in Term 2, then AL4 in Prelims.
The lessons are cast on a huge TV screen so every student can see clearly. They use digital tools with different colors — neat and easy to understand. There's constant updates, recorded lessons, and so much support.

PSLE Result
AL2
Before joining GPA, my son had major exam anxiety and barely passed his Math tests. We found GPA through Google reviews and it changed everything.
The tutors helped him score 78 in Prelims. More importantly, my son walked into PSLE Math feeling confident instead of terrified. The team even helped with English and Science before PSLE — out of pure dedication.
Linus Loo
Parent of P6 Student
My child made improvements quickly and now looks forward to the lessons. The tutors follow up with feedback after every school exam.
I can see the increased confidence in my child — he jumped from AL5 in P5 to AL3 in Prelims. Huge kudos to Mrs. Toh and the entire teaching team!

Video Testimonial
"The children look forward to attending the lessons. They come back and they don't grumble. There's no excess homework, but yet she's able to drill in the concepts.
Perhaps she makes the practice of papers fun for the students. Most importantly, even after hours of Math tuition with Mrs. Toh, Ariel does not dread Math — and she feels more confident when doing the papers."

Questions & Answers
We offer math tuition for Primary 1 to Primary 6 students (including PSLE preparation), and Secondary 1 to Secondary 4 students. Our secondary math tuition covers both O Level Math and IP (Integrated Programme) Math syllabuses.
Our classes are kept small at 4–8 students maximum. This allows our math tutors to give individual attention, catch misunderstandings early, and provide targeted feedback during each lesson.
Genius Plus Academy was founded in 2017 by Mrs. Eileen Toh, a former MOE teacher with a Master of Education (M.Ed) from NIE. She started the centre to provide the kind of attentive, confidence-building math tuition she wanted for her own four children.
We have centres at Bukit Timah, Upper Thomson, Pasir Ris, and Punggol. Most class timings are also available via Zoom for students who prefer online math tuition.
All students receive our in-house textbooks and workbooks — over 60 textbooks and 40 workbooks written by our team specifically for the Singapore math syllabus. Students get 4 textbooks per year (one per term), with content structured week-by-week featuring clear learning objectives, notes, worked examples, and exercises.
Lessons are once a week, lasting 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the level. Students also receive weekly homework with written feedback, lesson recordings for revision, and WhatsApp support for questions between lessons.
Yes. We encourage all families to start with a trial lesson to see if our approach is the right fit for your child. You can book a trial through our website or WhatsApp us directly to arrange one.
We focus on building confidence alongside competence. Our small class sizes (4–8 students), in-house curriculum, and former MOE math tutors allow us to identify each student's specific gaps and address them systematically. We don't just drill worksheets — we help students understand concepts deeply and develop good exam habits.
But if you're looking for thoughtful teaching, real feedback, small classes, and educators who treat your child's confidence as carefully as their grades — we'd be glad to meet you.
