Founded by Mrs. Eileen Toh (M.Ed, NIE) and Mr. JY Wong - Former school teachers, current parents, believers in every child's potential
We've seen it hundreds of times: the child who "hates math" discovering they actually can do it. The frustrated tears becoming confident smiles. Your child's story can change too.
I'm Mrs. Eileen Toh, mother of four boys and former school teacher. A few years ago, I sat in a parent-teacher conference hearing words no parent wants to hear: 'Your son is falling significantly behind in Chinese.'
Here I was - an educator myself - and my own child was struggling.
We found him a tutor. Not just someone to drill worksheets, but someone who truly saw him. She was patient, she connected with him as a person, she even gave us travel tips for our Shanghai holiday. Within a year, not only had his grades improved, but he actually wanted to learn.
"That's when it hit me: This is what I want to be for other children's math journey."
I started this center as a one-woman operation - just me teaching all the classes, handling everything myself. Mr. JY Wong, who was running his own education center, saw what we were building and shared the same vision. He joined me because he believed in putting students first, just like I did.
Together, we decided to keep classes small. Just six students per class. Friends called us crazy - why put in so much effort for so few children?
After years in classrooms with thousands of students, and now raising four children of my own, here's what we've learned:
Children don't fail because they're not smart enough. They struggle because they're not taught in a way that makes sense to them.
Most places focus on chasing marks without consideration for well-being and development. More worksheets, more drilling, more content coverage. But I've watched too many bright children shut down because no one took the time to understand how they think.
Sustainable long-term growth
Child wants to learn more
Child experiences achievement
Child grasps concepts deeply
Child becomes curious
Child feels capable
When a child feels safe to ask questions, when they're not just one face in a crowd, when someone notices their small victories - that's when this spiral begins.
It's not about the grades (though those do improve). It's about watching a child's face light up when they finally 'get it.' When they choose to do extra practice because they want to, not because they have to.
When children experience this upward spiral, they don't just improve in Math. They develop resilience, problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset that serves them for life.
I could fit twenty-four children in our classroom. The business would grow faster, the rent would be covered quicker.
But I remember what it felt like in my own school classes. There were always a few who slipped through the cracks, who needed just a little more time or a different explanation.
We don't have flashy gimmicks or 'revolutionary methods.' What we have is time - time to really know each child, time to understand where they're stuck, time to build their confidence step by step.
Every term, your child gets a new textbook that our team has written in-house. Not because we want to reinvent the wheel, but because we want every explanation to be as clear as possible.
When a child struggles with a topic, we have extra worksheets ready - not more of the same, but carefully designed questions that scaffold them back to understanding. When they're ready for more challenge, we have harder problems that stretch their thinking.
You'll get a WhatsApp group with your child's tutor. Not for marketing messages, but for real updates: 'Sarah had a breakthrough with fractions today' or 'Marcus is finding decimals tricky - here's how you can support him at home.'

I won't tell you your child will jump from failing to AL1 in three months. Real learning doesn't work that way.
I can't guarantee they'll love every single lesson. Math can be challenging, and some days are harder than others.
I won't claim we're the only good tuition center in Singapore. There are dedicated teachers everywhere.
We will see your child as an individual. We will care about their progress as much as you do. And we will work with you, not around you, to help them grow.
Over the past seven years, we've written more than 80 textbooks and workbooks. Not because we had to, but because we wanted every explanation to be exactly right.
When I started with just six students per level, everyone asked if it made sense to put so much effort into creating comprehensive materials for so few children.
My answer was yes. Because I would want someone to do that for my children.
We're now working with a major publisher to make these available internationally - not because we're trying to expand, but because other educators have seen the difference thoughtful materials can make.
Many of our students stay with us for years - from Primary 1 right through to PSLE. When families find something that works, they tend to stay.
We cap each tutor at 60 students maximum (most centers: 200+). Both JY and I still teach classes ourselves - we're not just figureheads who show up for photos.
Every new tutor requires months of training. We won't compromise on quality for growth. This isn't a business strategy - it's a teaching philosophy.
After exploring various tuition centers, what sets Genius Plus apart is the enthusiasm my child displays. She eagerly participates and her grades have improved dramatically.
The teachers are exceptionally patient and consistently put students' needs first. My child feels confident and motivated.
My child never feels stressed or pressured. This positive mindset keeps her receptive to learning.
They have workbooks for different levels - foundation questions for weaker students and expert level questions for those who are gifted in the topic.

These aren't testimonials we asked for. They're messages from parents who wanted to share what they noticed at home.
We have limited spaces because of how we choose to operate. If you'd like to see if we're a good fit for your child, come for a trial lesson.
You can reach me directly at +65 9736 0329. Not a sales line, not an admin assistant - just me. Because if you're considering trusting us with your child's learning, you should be able to speak with the person who will be guiding that journey.
We're not for everyone, and that's okay. But if you're looking for educators who still remember why they became teachers in the first place, who treat your child's confidence as carefully as their grades, who believe that good teaching changes lives - then maybe we should talk.
In a world of quick fixes and loud promises, we choose to do something quietly different. We choose to know our students' names, to understand their learning styles, to celebrate their progress however small.
Because every child deserves to feel capable, confident, and curious about learning.
If that resonates with you, we'd love to meet your child.
